Batam, Indonesia
Joyhouse Orphanage: from first visit to exit plan
Two phases across separate visits: a Human Library mentoring format with a nine-person team and community asset mapping, followed by workshop tracks for more than 100 young people in clay art, textile upcycling and micro-enterprise basics. The engagement closed with an after-action review run with Joyhouse’s founders and teachers.

Kulai Besar, Johor, Malaysia
Kulai Besar: cross-border supplies and a community hub assessment
Working with a university lecturer who coordinates humanitarian support for refugee communities in the area, we collected supplies in Singapore, moved them across the border to Johor Bahru, and assessed a community hub under renovation for future programme use.
